We’re fundraising to support more grassroots community groups in Bristol!

With the cost of living crisis and cuts in services more people are having to step up to support those around them and push for change. We support these grassroots groups and activists because this is the work that really matters and makes a difference because it’s lead by people who know first hand what the issues are and what’s needed.

Most of the groups that apply to Redistro have an annual income of £2,000 or less and struggle to access funds elsewhere. The groups are often informal and with no paid staff or offices to run. A small amount goes a long way. Please support them if you can.

We can’t create an equal world without the redistribution of wealth and power. That’s why we encourage those who have more than they need – perhaps through a well paid job or inheritance – to share what they have. We know there are many people in Bristol who have money to give and want to see a more equal world; through Redistro they can be sure the money goes into the hands of those who can really make a difference. How can we be sure? Because the groups we support are the ones who decide who gets funded in future and they’re the experts!
