Thanks to some unexpected generous donations we are now open for applications of up to £1,000 to our 7th funding round! Deadline is 7th August.
We’re looking for small groups set up and led by a community most affected by inequality (eg women, non-binary, LGBTQ+, working class, disabled, migrant, Black and racially minoritised people). The group must be led by people with first-hand experience of the issue the group is working on. They don’t need to be registered in any way – we support informal groups rather than registered charities. Read our criteria. You can see the full list of groups we supported last year here: Round 6 groups.
Our application process is as simple as we can make it and groups can apply in different formats, such as writing, over the phone, video or voice note. Find out how to apply.
We aim to challenge power dynamics in funding and believe those who live it, know it. Therefore, it’s our groups themselves who decide who gets the money.
Can you help us spread the word? We are a small group of volunteers and the groups we give money to often aren’t linked into mainstream charity networks and might not hear about us. We have leaflets too and will be distributing these to community centres and other places.
We are expecting this to be a bumper round, so if you have anything you can donate we’d really appreciate it so we can support as many groups as possible.
