We have an update for you on our Round 7! We received 71 applications initially, a real bumper round (nearly twice last year) and have now checked them all over. 58 of the groups are eligible, requesting a total of £55,640.
Applications have been received from right across the city from a range of groups, including those led by migrant women, Afrikan artists, trans people, disabled and neurodivergent folks, working class communities and more.
Please help us support as many groups as we can by making a donation and helping to spread the word.
Here’s some more info on the groups that have applied:
We’ve had 38 people from applicant and previously funded groups sign up to read and score applications – these scores will be used to decide which groups get funded. We don’t envy them that job!
We also have an event for applicants next month focused on sharing skills, connections and resources. We want every group who applied to gain something from the process, even if they don’t get the funds they requested. It also feels such a critical time to be bringing communities together from across the city.
